Welcome McKay Munoz to the Grid Catalyst Team

Grid Catalyst is powering up the team for the next few months to tackle some big opportunities, including our plans for the first-ever Minnesota Cleantech Innovation Day (save the date for June 7, 2023)

We are very fortunate to be bringing in McKay Munoz to work with the team for the next few months to lead event planning, programming, and engagement.

McKay is a descendant of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians in North Dakota. She graduated from University of North Dakota with a B.A. in Communication. McKay has ten years of experience coordinating and managing a variety of events from the Minority Business Opportunity Fair to the North Central Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC) Annual Meeting. In her previous role as the Operations Manager for NCMSDC she was responsible for the financial coordination, office and board operations and the event planning and promotion. McKay has also worked for Minneapolis Public Schools in the Office of Equity and Diversity and interned for the Minnesota Twins in the Diversity and Inclusion Marketing Department.

In her spare time, McKay loves to bead earrings, sew and craft. She also loves going on bike rides with her family and bringing their dog to the dog park. She lives in Maple Grove with her husband, two daughters and their mini-goldendoodle.

We are looking forward to working with McKay the next few months to help connect and elevation Minnesota’s energy and cleantech innovation community!
