Grid Catalyst Announces Members of Inaugural Advisory Council

Collaboration has always been at the heart of Grid Catalyst’s work. From our partnerships with Clean Energy Economy Minnesota (CEEM) and Center for Economic Inclusion to foundational work with our Innovators Network. With so much on the horizon in 2022, Grid Catalyst is  proud to announce our inaugural Advisory Council to guide our work and help fulfill our mission – to create equitable pathways for energy innovation that can address northern climate challenges.

Grid Catalyst’s work crosses many sectors, so we are tremendously fortunate to have Advisory Council members from such diverse backgrounds offering unique perspectives on our work ahead. This includes expertise in energy technology and engineering, climate and sustainability, startups and entrepreneurship, business development, finance, policy and regulatory affairs, labor and workforce, and international trade. As our work expands beyond the core accelerator program and into other areas of innovation and development, we will be challenged and guided by this tremendous group of individuals.

The founding Advisory Council is comprised of Bree Halverson (Blue Green Alliance), John Morrow (3M), Irina Palchuk (UMB Bank), Aditya Ranade (Two Degrees Adapt), Laurence Reszetar (State of Minnesota – Trade Office), and Stephanie Zawistowski (Solar Energy Industries Association). Gregg Mast, Executive Director of CEEM, will also participate in the Council, continuing his role as a strategic advisor to the Grid Catalyst program.

Please visit our Leadership Page to learn more about the members.

“We are building tremendous momentum for energy innovation in Minnesota. This incredible slate of Advisory Council members showcases our regional expertise and leadership, which is essential to deploying the next wave of energy technologies and startups,” said Nina Axelson, Grid Catalyst founder.

The Advisory Council members will serve a one-year voluntary term to guide and inform strategies for our Impact Program and connect us with other opportunities and partners. If you would like to nominate someone for future openings on the Advisory Council, please contact us.
